Eric E. Smith, Ph.D.

Dr Smith has been involved with interactive learning systems since 1982 as a user, designer, developer, and teacher. Over the years he has designed and developed a wide range of materials from simple presentations on instructional design topics to interactive videodisc courseware in biology, physical education, and English as a Second Language to the development of application software training. He has designed and developed several courses focused on helping educators technology into their own teaching practice as well as their organizations. In the last several years he has applied design and development skills to academic courses, corporate training systems, and commercial internet sites.
Dr. Smith holds a Ph.D. in Educational Computing and Instructional Development from Purdue and he has taught in higher education for over 15 years. For the last several years, he has been consulting full time, with both educational and corporate clients.
